Event Details:
Round 1: Quiz and Bounty Round
Quiz Round:
- A total of 20 questions will be given.
- The duration of the quiz is 15 minutes.
- Questions will be based on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
- One point will be awarded for each correct answer.
- The top 8 teams will proceed to the next sub-round.
Bounty Round:
- A website will be provided to each team.
- The website will contain a bounty which, when discovered, will lead to a unique access key.
- The time of successfully entering the access key will be considered as the tiebreaker.
- The top 6 teams will proceed to the next round.
Round 2: Task-Based Round
Envelope Round:
- Teams will be given an envelope containing a hint pointing to a location outside the lab and within the college.
- At the indicated location, a volunteer will provide another envelope with a new hint.
- There will be only four envelopes.
- In case of a tie, the team that reaches first and answers a riddle correctly will receive the envelope.
Task Round:
- Teams must choose between two types of tasks based on their strengths.
- Upon completion of the task, teams must identify the next location and proceed accordingly.
- All teams will proceed to the next sub-round.
Bomb Round:
- At the final location, teams will be provided with a hint and a system.
- Teams must identify the correct folder based on the hint.
- The folder will contain a problem scenario and an Excel file to be analysed using Data Science.
- The bomb will be activated ten minutes after the last team reaches the lab.
- The team that cuts the wires in the correct order before time runs out wins the game.
- In case of a tie, the team that cuts the maximum number of correct wires in the least time will be declared the winner.
Rules and Regulations:
- A team must consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members.
- All team members must be from the same college.
- Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to participate in the event.
- The decisions of the organisers are final and binding.
Judging Criteria:
Round 1:
- Eight teams proceed based on quiz scores, with time considered as the tiebreaker.
- Six teams proceed to Round 2 based on the time of entering the access key.
- In case of a tie, the time of submission will be considered as the tiebreaker.
Round 2:
- Four teams proceed based on successful completion of the Envelope Round.
- The winning team is determined based on bomb detonation or the maximum number of correct wires cut in the least time.
