About the Event:

Event Details:
Round 1:
- Round 1 will be conducted within a 2-hour overall window.
- Teams will attempt a series of puzzles, and each puzzle carries 40 points.
- A total of 6 hints will be provided for the round, and they may be used across puzzles without any point deduction.
- Each team will be allotted a maximum of 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the puzzles.
Round 2:
- Round 2 will be conducted for a total duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Teams will attempt puzzles across multiple difficulty levels, including Easy (40 points), Medium (50 points), Hard (60 points), and Final Hard (100 points).
- The Final Hard puzzle includes a time-based bonus system, where completing it within 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes awards +40, +20 or +10 points respectively.
- Hints will be available for all puzzles, and each hint used will result in a 15-point deduction.
- Puzzles are arranged on a graph-based map, and teams must unlock subsequent levels by solving the current one.
- If two teams land on the same puzzle, they may initiate a Speedrun Encounter with a 10-minute limit. The winning team earns +75 points, while the losing team incurs –50 points. The losing team may continue solving to regain +25 points, or exit to the lobby or solo mode. Quitting the encounter results in an additional –40 point penalty.
- The top 2 teams will be declared winner and runner-up, with ties resolved by the time taken to solve the final puzzle.
Rules and Regulations:
- A team must consist of 2 members.
- All the team members must be from the same college.
- Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to be eligible to participate.
- Late arrivals will not be granted any additional time under any circumstances.
- Usage of Google Search and AI tools is permitted.
- Any form of communication (verbal or digital) with individuals outside the team is strictly prohibited.
- The decisions of the judges and organisers are final and binding.
Judging Criteria:
Round 1:
- Scores earned by solving puzzles.
- In case of a tie, the tiebreaker considers the time from signing in to solving the last puzzle.
Round 2:
- Points are a combination of puzzle-solving, speed-run encounters, and hints.
- In case of a tie, the tiebreaker considers the time of the last puzzle solved.
