About the Event:

Welcome to Animeverse, an exciting event designed for anime enthusiasts. Featuring engaging quizzes and interactive anime-themed games, it challenges your knowledge, creativity, and teamwork. Compete with fellow fans to identify characters, guess catchphrases, and solve fun puzzles. Animeverse celebrates the passion, strategy, and thrill of the anime world.

Event Details:

Round 1: Quiz Round

1. It consists of 30 questions and a total of 30 minutes is allotted.
2. The quiz contains statement and image based questions.
3. Each correct answer will fetch 1 point.

Round 2: Anime Games

1. Pictionary 
   • A team member must first pick a chit containing a character and then draw it on the board within 40 seconds (30 + 10).
   • A warning is issued after 30 seconds.
   • The remaining team members are given an extra 10 seconds to guess the character for the point to be awarded.
   • Correct answers earn 10 points. No negative points are incurred

3. Guess by Catchphrase
4. Guess by English Name
5. Guess by Voice Actor:
   • A digital buzzer is provided for all these games.
   • The first team to click the buzzer gets 6 seconds to answer.
   • Correct answers earn 20 points, while incorrect answers result in a deduction of 10 points.
   • If the initial team answers incorrectly, the next team that clicked the buzzer will be given the chance to respond.
   • Points awarded in this scenario will be 10 points for a correct answer and a deduction of 5 points for an incorrect answer.

Rules and Regulations:

1. A team must consist of 3 members.
2. All the team members must be from the same college.
3. Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to participate in the event.
4. The decisions of the judges and the organisers are final and binding.

Judging Criteria:

Round 1:

• Points scored in the quiz.
• In case of ties, time of submission will be considered as a tiebreaker.

Round 2:

• Overall points obtained across all games.
